Stage four: Building

Once the consent is approved, some admin is taken care of:

  • Building consent documentation is received from Council, printed and taken to site.

  • WorkSafe NZ is notified that works are going to begin.

  • Master Build 10 Year Guarantee is applied for.

  • Contract works insurance is obtained to cover any incidents during construction.

  • A new water metre is applied for.

  • An accurate and complete schedule is put together by our project manager.

We then get stuck into the physical works, starting with site set out, excavation and foundation preparation. Included in your Master Build Contract is a payment schedule which matches major construction milestones. You are only invoiced once these milestones are reached.

And of course we have site meetings throughout the construction so you get to be apart of the physical progress! As you’re able to physically check the progress on site it means you can advise us of specific things you’d like, such as the TV location. Having you visit site means you can raise these preferences with us before it’s too late to accomodate!
